The Megan House Foundation, Inc features two Success Homes which provide transitional supportive housing partially funded by the Bureau of Substance Addiction Services. Residents participate in the development and implementation of an Individual Service Plan, setting goals to achieve prior to transitioning to independent living.

  2. Zack’s Team believes that recovery is possible and has been able to offer treatment and sober living scholarships to hundreds of young adults in the Merrimack Valley, who would otherwise have no access to treatment options.

We are proud to offer a men’s sober living home with structure and stability. Lowell, MA, September 30th, 2024 – Lowell House is excited to announce that after 53 years, it will have a new identity, Riverbend, to reflect the organization’s evolution over the years. The name Riverbend gives a nod to the Merrimack River that runs through the heart of the communities that the organization services and as a reflection of the journey that their clients take in their recovery.

She is continuing to further her education and is committed to working with the Megan’s House Foundation to expand services for young women with substance use disorders. Sober living homes in Massachusetts are certified by MASH, the Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing. The Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Living is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to support recovery guests throughout Massachusetts and to practice national quality standards for recovery residences. Riverbend, formerly Lowell House, has been providing high-quality, accessible, and affordable addiction services and related support to the Greater Merrimack Valley community since 1971. Our programs cover a broad range of inpatient and outpatient treatment and living options that support recovery across a lifetime.

Tanya’s passion for recovery largely came from her support of The Herren Project. After hearing former NBA player, Chris Herren speak about his recovery at her local high school in 2013, she decided to help raise funds for treatment navigation by running her first every 5k. In addition, she has served on the Board of Westford Against Substance Abuse from 2017 to present. In addition to helping his customers navigate their risk management programs, A.J.

Carleen recently joined the Megan House Foundation after several years of experience in the corporate world. She is a graduate of Rivier College with a degree in Office Administration. Carleen was born and raised in Lowell and now lives in Dracut with her husband.

Trying very hard to avoid temptation to go drink or do whatever I can find. MaryBeth was born and raised in Boston and now lives in Haverhill, MA with her many pets. In her “spare” time, MaryBeth loves to relax at the beach and watch the Patriots. Tanya very much enjoys being in a supportive role and combines her creative problem solving and organization skills with everything-is-possible attitude to support our Executive Director and The Megan House Foundation. Shaun is very active in the community, also serving as a Board member for the Latinx Community Center for Empowerment, as well as organizing and advocating for many community based efforts. He was also a long-time Board Member of the Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association.
